This Training Agreement applies to all training, behavior consulting, virtual services, and related support provided by Bark to Basics. Specific services, packages, fees, and included support are determined by the services purchased and may be modified or added over the course of the training relationship.

Payment is due according to the terms provided at the time a service or package is purchased. Training and behavior consulting fees are non-refundable. Package pricing reflects a commitment to the full program; unused sessions, support, or other package components are not eligible for partial refunds or credits.

At least 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours' notice may be considered used and are not eligible for refund or credit. Exceptions may be made at Bark to Basics' discretion in the event of an emergency.

This is the deadline for completing included sessions, socialization outings, and virtual follow-ups. Text/email support and Office Hours follow the support period listed in your package details.

Training recommendations are individualized based on the information available at the time of service. Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their dog’s behavior, health, history, and environment, and for following recommended training and management strategies. Clients should notify Bark to Basics of significant changes that may affect training or safety.

Between-session communication and support are provided only when included with the service or package purchased and while the client is actively participating in the program, subject to the maximum support period specified in the package details above. Text and email support are intended for questions and troubleshooting related to the client’s existing training plan. New or significantly changed behavior concerns may require an additional consultation or appointment.

Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate control and supervision of their dog and for following recommended safety and management measures. Dog training and behavior modification may involve inherent risks, including the possibility of bites, scratches, falls, property damage, or injury to people or animals. Clients agree to disclose known bite history, aggression, escape behavior, or other safety concerns that may affect training.

Bark to Basics will provide professional guidance based on the information available and the individual dog and situation. Because behavior is influenced by many factors, including the dog’s history, environment, health, learning history, and the client’s implementation of recommendations, specific results cannot be guaranteed.

The client understands that working with dogs involves inherent risks and accepts responsibility for their dog’s actions and behavior. To the extent permitted by law, the client agrees to release and hold harmless Bark to Basics, its owner, employees, and agents from claims for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in training or implementation of training recommendations, except where caused by the negligence or intentional misconduct of Bark to Basics.

Bark to Basics may recommend veterinary evaluation when health or medical factors could be contributing to behavior. Training and behavior consulting are not a substitute for veterinary care.
